We are in the fifth week of Lent and it can seem like we haven’t changed much. Maybe we haven't lived up the the Lenten promises and sacrifices we set on Ash Wednesday. Maybe our willpower has been weak. Instead of relying so much on our strength and desire, let us place our strength and desire in our Lord. We all need a reminder from time to time that we can’t, but that He can!

Four Simple Prayers about Trusting God.
Dear Lord,
Please help me trust you and your timing.
I tend to get impatient and I tend to take matters into my own hands.
I know this is a weakness of mine.
I am so sorry.
Holy Spirit please transform this part of me.
Help me to trust in you Lord and trust that your timing is best in Jesus name.
Amen!
Mary, Mother of Fairest love, grant me the grace to place my hope in the Lord.
I cannot, but He can.
Help me to not flee your side, guide me and fill me with your grace.
I cannot, but He can.
Do not let me fall astray from the path God has set for me.
I cannot, but He can.
That I never distrust the hand of God in my life.
I cannot, but He can.
Dear God, if today I lose my hope, please remind me that your plans are better than my dreams.
